1. Who is responsible for your data

Scallar IT Solution is the data controller for personal data collected through this website and pre-sales communications. Our registered office is C-4/105, Pocket C 3, New Kondli, Delhi 110096, India. For privacy requests, contact info@scallar.in.

When we deliver services to a client, the client may be the controller and Scallar may process data only on that client's documented instructions. Those arrangements are governed by the relevant contract and, where appropriate, a Data Processing Addendum (DPA).

2. Personal data we collect

• Identity and contact details, such as name, work email address, phone number, company, and country.
• Inquiry details, including the service, budget range, message, and information you choose to provide.
• Technical and security information, such as IP address, browser/device details, and server logs.
• Analytics information about website use only when you choose to accept analytics cookies.
• Scheduling or messaging details when you choose to contact us through a third-party channel such as a booking link, WhatsApp, social platform, or email.

Please do not send special-category, health, financial-account, government-ID, or other sensitive personal data through a general website inquiry unless we have agreed a secure process first.

3. Why we use data and our legal bases

• Responding to a request or preparing a proposal: to take steps at your request before a contract and to manage a prospective client relationship.
• Operating and securing the website: our legitimate interests in preventing abuse, maintaining security, and improving reliability.
• Analytics: your consent, where required, which you may withdraw through Cookie Settings.
• Direct marketing: consent or legitimate interests where applicable law permits it, always with a clear way to opt out.
• Legal and accounting duties: compliance with applicable legal obligations and protection of legal rights.

4. Cookies and analytics choices

Essential technology is used to keep the website secure and functioning. Google Analytics and Ahrefs Analytics are optional. They are not loaded until you select “Accept analytics” in our consent banner. You may choose “Essential only” or revise a prior choice through Cookie Settings in the site footer.

Withdrawing consent stops future optional analytics collection from this website. It does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal. Browser controls can also remove stored cookies.

5. Recipients and service providers

We disclose data only where necessary for the purposes above. Recipients may include hosting and cloud infrastructure providers, email delivery providers, form-routing providers, booking providers selected by you, professional advisers, and competent authorities where required by law. Google Analytics and Ahrefs Analytics receive data only after analytics consent.

We require service providers to use personal data only for authorised services and with appropriate confidentiality and security safeguards. We do not sell personal data.

6. International transfers

Scallar is based in India and may process data in India or in other countries where our approved service providers operate. Where UK, EU, or EEA personal data is transferred internationally, we use safeguards appropriate to the transfer, such as contractual protections, an adequacy decision where available, or another lawful transfer mechanism. You may request information about the safeguards that apply to your data by emailing us.

7. Retention

We retain inquiry and prospective-client information for up to 24 months after the last meaningful interaction, unless a longer period is needed to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. Contract, invoicing, and accounting records are retained for the period required by applicable law. Optional analytics data is retained only in accordance with our configured provider settings and no longer than necessary for website measurement.

8. Your privacy rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, object to processing, request portability of your personal data, and withdraw consent. To exercise a right, email info@scallar.in with enough information for us to verify and respond to your request.

UK and EU/EEA visitors also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office or their local data-protection authority. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve the issue promptly.

9. Data Processing Addendum and client data

For client work that involves processing personal data on the client's behalf, we can provide a DPA before access is granted. The DPA covers the processing instructions, categories of data and people, confidentiality, security measures, approved subprocessors, international transfers, assistance with data-subject requests, incident cooperation, and deletion or return of data at the end of services.

10. Security and changes to this notice

We use proportionate technical and organisational safeguards, including access controls and secure service configuration, to protect personal data. No system can guarantee absolute security. We may update this policy when our processing or legal obligations change; the current version and update date will always appear on this page.
